Dudhwa National Park is located in Palia of Lakhimpur District of Uttar Pradesh. It is a tiger Reserve under Governmnet of U.P.
It is true that there are many national parks better than Dudhwa but, it get its own feel to have a safari ride through the long grasses of forest and get an opportunity to see many wild species with patience. I had my internship in a village near Dudhwa. During my stay at the village,i traveled a lot through Dudhwa and nearby areas of forest.
The Silence and smell of nature left me spellbound. The evening scenes of Dudhwa are just amazing. one can stay at dudhwa and can experience different sunset patterns and feeling each day in a month.
The Calm environment, friendly Tharu Tribes living nearby Dudhwa are the symbol of Mankind in this selfish world. The Tharu are just like our own , a part of family. I wont say that they treat guest as God but as their won son/daughter.
I would recommend one should go and travel in the lap of nature of the Dudhwa.
