Its like HOME FOOD. Shree Thaker Bhojanalay is a Mumbai eating house that serves Gujarati thali. Located in Fanaswadi, Kalbadevi...it was established in 1945 by Maganlal Purohit.It is owned by Gautam Purohit, who is also the head chef. The Bhojanalay is where Alice Waters is reported to have eaten a jowar bhakri for the first time. I don't know where to start from, everything about this place is super prefect. I do not find anything to complain about this wonderful place where I went for lunch this afternoon. Even though I went there around 3 pm this place was crowded.As I sat down, within minutes my thali was filled. The service is super quick . The food tasted yummy and was served hot. They have huge varieties served in one plate. The deserts were also very good. The owner & his family take good care of the guests and make them feel comfortable.
